ST. CLOUD, Minn. — (RV) UW-Eau Claire is in fifth place out of 14 teams after the opening round of the 2026 Saint John's Fall Invitational, carding a team score of 305 (+17) Saturday at Blackberry Ridge Golf Course. The Blugolds' "B" team is tied for eighth at 310 (+22). (RV) Bethel leads the field after shooting a 291 (+3).

Spencer Lynch led the Blugolds, finishing tied for eighth individually with a 73 (+1) on the par-72, 6,676-yard course. Lynch recorded 14 pars and two birdies during his opening round. Luke Taebel carded a 75 (+3) to finish 18th overall, while Michael Markley is tied for 32nd after shooting a 78 (+6) with three birdies. Samuel Forslund finished with a 79 (+7) and is tied for 39th, while Johnathan Amtmann rounded out the UW-Eau Claire lineup with an 82 (+10).

Ryan Jamieson led the UW-Eau Claire B team, firing a 74 (+2) with 12 pars and two birdies to sit tied for 13th overall. Bennett Madson carded a 76 (+4) with two birdies and is tied for 19th. Reis Von Ruden shot a 79 (+7) and is tied for 39th, while Cameron Stenzel recorded an 81 (+9) and Chase Van Ranst finished with an 88 (+16).

UW-Eau Claire returns to the course for the second round of the Saint John's Fall Invitational Sunday, Sept. 27, with tee times beginning at 8 a.m.
