Women's Hockey Athletes Earn All-WIAC Awards

MADISON, Wis.— The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's hockey team had nine players earn All-WIAC honors to end their 2025-26 season.

Freshman goalie Kambelle Freije was named to the 2026 All-WIAC Women's Ice Hockey Team. Freije backstopped the Blugolds with 14 games, 6 shutouts, a 1.58 GAA, a .931 Save percentage, and an overall record of 10-4.

Junior forward Maddie Hulter was named to the 2026 All-WIAC Women's Ice Hockey Team. Hulter had the best production of her collegiate career scoring 10 goals, 20 assists, and 30 points in 28 games, nearly doubling her point total from a year ago.

Junior forward Madisyn Krumholz was named to the 2026 All-WIAC Women's Ice Hockey Team. Krumholz scored 14 goals, 11 assists, and 25 points in 28 games for the Blugolds this season.

Sophomore defenseman Ashley Wagenbach was named to the 2026 All-WIAC Women's Ice Hockey Team. Wagenbach recorded 21 blocked shots, scored 3 goals, 11 assists, and 14 points in 27 games for the Blugolds.

Junior defenseman Kylie Wiltse was named to the 2026 All-WIAC Women's Ice Hockey Team. Wiltse recorded 54 blocked shots, scored 5 goals, 13 assists, and 18 points in 28 games providing a strong 2-way game from the blue line for the Blugolds.

Sophomore forward Adrienne Hansen was named to the 2026 All-WIAC Women's Ice Hockey Team Honorable Metion. Hansen scored 11 goals, 12 assists, and 23 points in 28 games for the Blugolds this year.

Junior forward Kenzie Keller was named to the 2026 All-WIAC Women's Ice Hockey Team Honorable Metion. Keller scored 13 goals, 10 assists, and 23 points in 28 games on the season for the Blugolds.

Senior forward Rachel Mirwald was named to the 2026 All-WIAC Women's Ice Hockey Team Honorable Metion. Mirwald scored 1 goal, 8 assists, and 9 points in 28 games for the Blugolds.

Lastly, senior captain Ava Bullert was named to the 2026 WIAC All-Sportsmanship Team as well as awarded the Judy Kruckman Scholar Athlete award for her excellence in the classroom and on the ice.
