EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — UW-Eau Claire claimed the team title at the Georgianni Blugold Invitational, carding a two-round score of 625 (+57) to finish atop the leaderboard. The Blugolds posted rounds of 312 (+28) and 313 (+29) and placed five golfers inside the top six, including the top three individual finishers.
Lilly Kaminski led the way, capturing first place honors with a two-round total of 153 (+11). Kaminski opened with a 75 (+4) before carding a 78 (+7) in the final round, finishing with two birdies.
Grace Raich finished runner-up at 154 (+12), one stroke behind Kaminski, and recorded three birdies across the tournament. Tally Schlindwein rounded out the top three with a 158 (+16), carding rounds of 77 (+6) and 81 (+10).
Elizabeth Hermann finished fifth at 162 (+20), highlighted by a second-round 78 (+7), while Karalyn Skinner placed sixth at 164 (+22) after posting matching rounds of 82 (+11).
The Blugolds return to action at the WIAC Championships, held at Reedsburg Country Club in Reedsburg, Wis., Friday, Oct. 9 through Sunday, Oct. 11.
