MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) has announced the Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week for the week of Januray 12-18. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Women's Swim and Dive's Ella Josephs has been named the Women's Diving Athlete of the Week by anonymous vote of WIAC head coaches and Sports Information Directors.
Josephs had a record setting day off the board as the Blugolds defeated St. Norbert College (Wis.) 199-92 on Jan. 17. She won the one-meter board with 424.90 points, beating the next closest diver by over 35 points. Josephs' performance notched her a NCAA Zone Cut and she now holds the facility record at Mulva Family Fitness & Sports Center on the one-meter board.
