ROCHESTER, Minn. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's and women's swimming and diving teams wrapped up competition at the Rochester Invite on Saturday. The Blugold men finished third out of seven teams, while the women placed fourth out of 10. The Blugolds were the top-finishing Division III team on both the men's and women's sides.
"Our midseason meet is always a meet we expect the kids to get up and compete against some very fast Division II and other Division III programs," Head Coach
Annie Ryder said. "Our kids performed extremely well and swam and dove in a way to set us up for success at the end of the season. This meet is a chance for us to suit up and see where we are as a team and what we need to develop for the end. We had many lifetime best and season best times across the board and the team. I am proud of the way they competed and showed up for their team."
