TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's cross country team wrapped up its season at the 2024 NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday.
Keeley Behr (Jr. – Aurora, Ill./Metea Valley) was the lone Blugold in action and raced to a 72nd-place finish.
In her third career trip to nationals, Behr recorded her best finish at nationals. She finished in 22:09.4, which stands as the best finish at the NCAA Championships.
Behr kicked things into gear around the midway point of the race. She climbed 37 spots up the leaderboard between the 1K mark and 3K mark. She rose seven more spots by the time she had run five kilometers.
Among Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) runners in the race, Behr logged the third-fastest time by a conference runner.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology won the national title.
