NORTHFIELD, Minn. — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's cross country team placed fourth at the NCAA North Regional on Saturday. All five of the Blugolds' scoring runners earned all-region honors in a strong day across the board.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- UW-Eau Claire tallied 118 team points. UW-La Crosse won the meet with 63.
- The Blugolds had five all-region honorees in Keeley Behr (Jr. - Aurora, Ill./Metea Valley), Molly Heidorn (So. - Colfax, Wis.), Bella Hooker (Fr. - Kewaskum, Wis.), Reagan Zimmerman (So. - Sun Prairie, Wis.) and Allison Weissinger (Sr. - River Falls, Wis.). The top 35 finishers at the regional earned all-region honors.
- Behr was first in the for the Blugolds. She finished ninth overall in 22:20.3.
- Heidorn placed 22nd in 22:48.8. Hooker was close behind, crossing the line in 22:50.9 to finish 24th overall.
- Zimmerman finished 28th in 22:53.7. Weissinger rounded out the scoring in 35th with a time of 23:07.9.
UP NEXT
The qualifiers for the NCAA Championships will be announced on Sunday, November 17. The championships are slated for Saturday, November 23, in Terre Haute, Indiana.
