ONALASKA, Wis. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team placed sixth at the UW-La Crosse Fall Invitational on Sunday. The Blugolds registered a two-day score of 701.
Cadie Ash (Sr. - Waupaca, Wis.) led the way for UW-Eau Claire. She tied for 14th with a two-day score of 169. The Blugolds had two more finishers in the top 30:
Lilly Kaminski (Fr. - Green Bay, Wis./Denmark) and
Elizabeth Hermann (Fr. - Macomb Township, Mich./Dakota). Kaminski finished in a tie for 25th with a score of 175, and Hermann tied for 29th at 178.
Bri Novak (So. - Red Wing, Minn.) tied for 31st with a 179.
Keely Morehouse (So. - Superior, Wis.) and
Gillian Johnson (So. - Hayward, Wis.) finished back-to-back in the leaderboard. Morehouse tied for 38th with a 184. Johnson finished 41st with a 188.
UW-Eau Claire will wrap up the fall portion of its schedule with the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship from Oct. 6-8. The tournament will be played at Reedsburg Country Club in Reedsburg, Wisconsin.
