HASTINGS, Minn. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team finished in ninth place out of 16 teams at the D3 Classic on Sunday. The Blugolds tallied a score of 674 at the two-round tournament.
UW-Eau Claire moved one spot up the leaderboard from the first day.
Bri Novak (So. - Red Wing, Minn.) was the top finisher for the Blugolds, tying for 27th with a 163.
Lilly Kaminski (Fr. - Green Bay, Wis./Denmark) tied for 31st at 164.
Olivia McSorely (Jr. - Elm Grove, Wis./Brookfield East) tied for 55th with a 171.
Elizabeth Hermann (Fr. - Macomb Township, Mich./Dakota) earned a 66th-place finish at 176, and
Gillian Johnson (So. - Hayward, Wis.) placed 75th at 179.
Cadie Ash (Sr. - Waupaca, Wis.) tied for 85th with a 183, and
Keely Morehouse (So. - Superior, Wis.) was close behind in a tie for 88th at 184.
Lydia Jensen (Fr. - Altoona, Wis.) withdrew in the second round.
The Blugolds play next at the UW-La Crosse Fall Invitational on Sept. 23-24. The tournament will take place at the Golf Club at Cedar Creek in Onalaska, Wis.
