FLORENCE, Ala. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team competed in the opening two rounds of the Shoals Intercollegiate on Monday at the RTJ Golf Trail at the Shoals. The Blugolds are in 13th place heading into the final two rounds.

Results

UW-Eau Claire shot a 620 on Monday, which held the first and second rounds. Nick Amtmann (So. - Nashotah, Wis./Arrowhead) led the way individually and is nine over par. He's tied for 37th. Cole Jahnke (Sr. - Stillwater, Minn.) and Corey Boerner (Jr. - Bloomington, Minn./Kennedy) shot matching 156s and are 12 over par. They're tied for 53rd.

Connor Brown (Sr. - Racine, Wis./Union) is tied for 57th after an opening-day 157. Carson Brock (Jr. - Onalaska, Wis./Holmen) is tied for 69th after a 159.
