COLFAX, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's cross country team competed at the NCAA North Regional on Saturday, November 11^th. The Blugolds took 2^nd out of 31 teams, scoring 68 points. Carleton won the meet with a team score of 48 points.

First in for the Blugolds was Carolyn Shult (Sr. – Augusta, Wis.) placing 2^nd overall in a time of 21:07.2. Following behind Carolyn was Ava Matejcek (So. – Mankato, Minn.) placing 12^th overall in a time of 22:06.2.

Rounding out the Blugolds top 5 was Keeley Behr (So. - Aurora, Ill.) in 14^th place with a time of 22:11.5, Morgan Dahl (Sr. – Shoreview, Minn.) in 19^th place with a time of 22:25.2, and Christi Forman (Sr. – Waterloo, Wis.) in 21^st place with a time of 22:27.9. Shult, Matejcek, Dahl, Forman and Hady earned All-Region honors for placing in the top 35.

Today's North Regional race determines who will move on to the National Championship Saturday, November 18^th in Newville, Pa.

The Blugold women will find out this Sunday whether they will move on to race at the NCAA Division III National Championship.
