REEDSBURG, Wis. (blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team climbed one spot on the leaderboard on the second day of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships. The Blugolds matched their score from day one and moved into a tie for sixth place ahead of the final round at Reedsburg Country Club.
Cadie Ash (Sr. - Waupaca, Wis.) is the highest-placed Blugolds at a tie for 19th. She has a two-day score of 172 after carding an 84 on Saturday.
Bri Novak (So. - Red Wing, Minn.) is tied for 29th with a score of 175. She shot an 89 on Saturday.
Keely Morehouse (So. - Superior, Wis.) is in 35th with a 177.
Gillian Johnson (So. - Hayward, Wis.) and
Olivia McSorley (Jr. - Elm Grove, Wis./Brookfield East) are both part of a tie for 44th with matching 183s.
Lilly Kaminski (Fr. - Green Bay, Wis./Denmark) is close behind with a 184, good for a tie for 47th.
Lydia Jensen (Fr. - Altoona, Wis.) is tied for 52nd with a 185.
Elizabeth Hermann (Fr. - Macomb Township, Mich./Dakota) is in 54th at 186.
The WIAC Championship wraps up on Sunday with the final round. Golfers tee off at 8:30 a.m.
