MAPLE PLAIN, Minn. (blugolds.com) The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team participated in the Minnesota Golf Classic this weekend hosted by Bethel University. The Blugolds took fourth place scoring +18 over three rounds.

Results

The team posted total scores of 300, 296, and 286 over three rounds this weekend. Cole Janke (Sr.-Stillwater, MN) set the pace for the Blugolds going -4 on the weekend and placing 7th individually. Jahnke was the top DIII golfer on the individual leaderboar just one Stroke behind Owen Mullen of Norte Dame. The senior was the only Blugold to shoot under par two out of three rounds. Connor Brown (Sr.-Racine, WI/Union) finished the weekend +6 in 35th place overall.
