PLATTEVILLE. Wis. (blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's soccer team traveled to face off against conference opponent UW-Platteville securing a 1-0 victory.

Senior defender Maddie Ames (Sr.- Shakopee, MN) scored the lone goal of the match up making it her second goal of the season as a defender. Anna Kautzmann (Sr.- Champlin, MN) had one assist on the game to Ames. The Blugolds were accurate only having 12 shots on goals and winning the match up. Goalkeeper Anna Sveiven played all 90 minutes totaling 8 saves keeping the Blugolds in the lead.
