SAUK CENTRE, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – After the first round of the Saint John's Fall Invitational, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team is in fourth place while Alex Rogan (Sr. - Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) is tied for second overall.
Results
The Blugolds' A squad shot a 301 (+13) on the day while Gustavus Adolphus and Saint John's are tied for the lead at 297 (+9). UW-Eau Claire's B squad is also tied for 10th overall (315, +27).
Rogan leads Eau Claire after turning in a score of 72 which is currently tied for second overall. Brady Thomas (Sr. – Middleton, WI) followed with a 74 (tied for 13th) while Austin van Sytzama (Jr. – Delano, MN) is tied for 16th with a 75.
Isaac Prefontaine's (Jr. – New Franken, WI/Preble) 76 has him tied for 22nd while Cole Jahnke (So. – Stillwater, MN), Connor Brown (Fr. – Racine, WI/Union) and Jake Reckin (Jr. – Bellevue, WA) are all tied for 49th after shooting 79's.
