ST. CLOUD, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The No. 21 ranked University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team is in 6th place at the Saint John's Spring Invitational after the first round of play.

The Blugolds shot a team total of 301 (+13) on Saturday and trail Gustavus Adolphus (MN) who is in the lead with a team score of 292. Brady Thomas (Jr. – Middleton, WI) led the Blugolds with a team low 73, he is currently tied for 10th overall. Nick Bauer (Sr.- Oshkosh, WI/North) turned in a 74 and is tied for 17th. Alex Rogan (Jr. – Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) shot a 76, while Cole Jahnke (Fr.- Stillwater, MN) was 6 over with a 78. In addition Jake Reckin (So. – Bellevue, NE) finished with a final score of 81.
