HAM LAKE, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team is in second place after Round 1 of the Augsburg Fall Invitational at the Majestic Lakes Golf Club.
Round 1 Results
As a team, the Blugolds' No. 1 squad shot a 292 while the University of St. Thomas is in first place with a 287.
Alex Rogan (Jr. – Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) leads UW-Eau Claire with a 72 and is tied for seventh place overall. Isaac Prefontaine (So. – New Franklin, WI/Green Bay Preble) and Nick Bauer (Sr. – Oshkosh, WI/North) followed with 73's (tied for 14th) while Cole Jahnke (Fr. - Stillwater, MN) is tied for 20th with a 74.
The Blugolds second team is in 15th place and is led by Jake Reckin's (So. – Bellevue, NE) 72 (tied for seventh) and Matt Fladten's (Fr. – Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) 73 (tied for 14th).
