EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – Brady Thomas (So. – Middleton, WI) recorded his first hole-in-one Thursday as the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team took second at the Blugold Spring Classic held at Wild Ridge Golf Course.
Results
Thomas tallied the hole-in-one on the par 3 12th hole playing 153 yards. The sophomore finished with a 73 (+3) and tied with teammates Ryan Isaacson (Sr. – Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) and Alex Rogan (So. – Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) for fourth place overall.
Nick Bauer finished in ninth (75) while Isaac Prefontaine (Fr. - New Franklin, WI/ Green Bay Preble) was 10th (76).
Augsburg College won the tournament with a team score of 288 while the Blugolds followed with a score of 294.
