SAUK CENTRE, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team is tied for second place after round one of the Klinkner Classic at the Lynx National Golf Course.
Round 1 Results
The Blugolds turned in a team score of 291 (+3) as did host Saint John's University. Augsburg College is in the lead after shooting a 290.
Alex Rogan (So. – Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) led Eau Claire on Sunday, shooting a 69 (-3) and sits in second place while Ryan Isaacson (Sr. – Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) is tied for third with a 71.
Isaac Prefontaine (Fr. - New Franklin, WI/ Green Bay Preble) is tied for 14th (75) and Connor Frawley (Sr. Onalaska, WI/Holmen) is tied for 21st (76).
Nick Bauer (Jr. – Oshkosh, WI/North) is also in the top 25, recording a 78 on the day, which is tied for 24th.
