HAM LAKE, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team had a strong showing on day two of the Augsburg Invitational, moving up to fifth place while Ryan Isaacson (Sr. - Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) tied for third overall.
Results
After shooting a team score of 301 on Saturday, the Blugolds dialed in to shoot a 289 on Sunday to finish at 590 (+14). Along with Isaacson, three other Blugolds finished in the top 25.
Alex Rogan (Fr. – Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) shot a 69 on Sunday to finish in a tie for 18th (147) while Michael Immekus (Greendale, MN/Catholic Memorial) and Grant Burish (So. – Janesville, WI/Shattuck-St. Mary's) tied for 22nd, shooting a 148.
Eau Claire will host the Frank Wrigglesworth Blugold Invitational on Sept. 10-11. Sunday's round will take place at Wild Ridge Golf Course and Monday's will be held at the Eau Claire Golf and Country Club.
