NORMAL, Ill. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team moved up a spot in the second and final round of the Illinois Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday, finishing in a tie for sixth place.
Results
The Blugolds tallied a team score of 307 on Saturday to turn in a final team score of 609. Illinois Wesleyan won the invitational with a score of 584.
Brady Hanson (Sr. – Woodbury, MN/East Ridge) led Eau Claire with a 71 on Saturday, recording an overall score of 149 to tie for 14th place.
Ryan Isaacson (Jr. – Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) tied for 18th after shooting a 78 (151) while Joey Dreier (Sr. – New London, MN) tied for 27th with a score of 77 (153).
Next up for the Blugolds is the Augustana Invitational April 14-15 at the Fyre Lake Golf Club in Sherrard, Ill.
