SHERRARD, Ill. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team took fourth place at the Augustana Invitational Saturday with Brady Hanson (Sr. – Woodbury, MN/East Ridge) leading the way, tying for second place overall.
Results
The Blugolds finished Saturday's round with a team score of 305, bringing their final team total to 597. Illinois Wesleyan won the tournament with a 576.
Hanson shot a 75 on day two to finish with a score of 143 while Joey Dreier (Sr. – New London, MN) just missed the top 10 with a 73 Saturday, bringing his two-round total to 148 to tie for 11th place. Ryan Isaacson (Jr. – Eau Claire, WI/Memorial) followed with a 77 (151) to tie for 17th.
Phil Johnson(So. – Eagan, MN) finished in a tie for 31st after tallying an 80 (156) and Alex Rogan (Fr. – Lino Lakes, MN/Centennial) tied for 36th with an 82 (157).
The Blugolds will be back in action Sunday, April 23 where they will compete at the Bobby Krig Invitational.
