ELK RIVER, Minn. (blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin men's golf team sits in eighth place out of 20 teams at the Twin Cities Classic held at Elk River Golf Course. 

Day 1 Results

UW-Eau Claire turned in a team score of 303 (+15) with three Blugolds tying for 14th place. Ryan Isaacson (So.-Eau Claire, WI/Memorial), Connor Frawley (So.-Onalaska, WI/Holmen) and Nick Asta (Fr.-Eagan, MN) turned in scores of 73 (+1) lead the Blugolds.

Bethel leads the field with a team score of 284 (-4) with players Dillon John and Davis Tollette holding the top two spots with scores of 68 and 70, respectively. 

Sunday's round will take place at the Links at Northfork.
