SAUK CENTRE, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men's golf team finished fifth in a strong field at the Saint John's Invitational this weekend, finishing round two with a score of 307, bringing their tournament total to 615 (+39).

Patrick Conroy (So.-Stillwater, MN/Mahtomedi) was the top finisher for the Blugolds, shooting a 76 and 77 for an overall score of 153 (+9) tying for 18th place.
Brady Hanson (Jr.-Woodbury, MN/East Ridge) turned in the next-best finish for UWEC, shooting a 75 and 79 (154), tying for 22nd.
The host Johnnies won the invite, recording an overall score of 591, with the Tommies of the University of St. Thomas taking second with a score of 598. Ryan Gallagher of SJU finished first in the player standings, shooting scores of 71 and 72, with an overall 143 (-1).
