SAN ANTONIO, TX (Blugolds.com) – The UW-Eau Claire women's basketball team used a balanced scoring attack to defeat McMurry University, 66-53 in overtime on Monday night at the Trinity Holiday Classic.

UW-Eau Claire struggled from the floor in the first half, but charged back to force overtime. In the extra frame, the Blugolds were five of seven from the field to cruise to the double-digit win.

Ten different Blugolds scored in the comeback win, led by Courtney Lewis' (Sr.-Prairie du Chien, WI) 14. Teenie Lichtfuss (Jr.-Oshkosh, WI) also scored in double figures, recording 11 points.

Ellen Blacklock (So.-Winona, MN) made her presence known in the paint, blocking four shots to go along with seven rebounds. The Blugold defense also tallied 10 steals and forced 25 total turnovers.

The Blugolds (6-5, 1-2 WIAC) will play host Trinity University on Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m.
