A Rachel Becker (Jr.-Gilmanton) lay-up started the game but the Titans responded with a shot from downtown for a 3-2 lead. The Blugolds would never regain the lead or tie the game the rest of the way. The Blugolds did all they could to get back in the game in the second half but had as much as a 20-point deficit to overcome. They used a 7-0 run midway through the half to get the score to 48-38 and then used a 9-3 run later in the half to cut the score of 55-52 with 3:32 left in the game. The comeback was not to be complete, however, as the Titans sank seven-of-eight free-throw attempts down the stretch to earn the 64-54 victory.
