  • Three Blugolds named Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week

    MADISON, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's Lizzy Cisewski, (Jr.--Stevens Point, Wis./Pacelli), Natalie Wijesinghe,( Sr.--Apple Valley, Minn.), and Hannah Schaetzel, (Jr.--Germantown, WI), have been named Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Kwik Trip Athletes of the Week, as was announced by Assistant Commissioner of Media Relations Matt Stanek.
  • Women's Cross Country wins home invitational

    COLFAX, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire women’s cross country team raced at their home meet, the Blugold Invitational, on Friday, October 4. The women competed against 27 other teams and were the overall champions, scoring 49 points. 
  • Women’s cross country wins first collegiate race of the season at the St. Olaf Invite

    NORTHFIELD, Min. (Blugolds.com) - The University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire women’s cross country team raced their first 6k this past Saturday at the St. Olaf Invitational meet. The women scored 29 points at the meet, finishing in first place out of 11 teams. The individual meet champion was Bryony Hawgood from St. Olaf who finished in a time of 22:36.2.
  • Women's Cross Country opens season with Alumni Meet

    EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women’s cross country team started their season at their own alumni meet 5k race. The Blugolds hosted the meet at the City Wells course and edged out the alumni, winning the meet 27 to 31.
