EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire soccer schedule is set for the 2019 season. The Blugolds are hoping to continue their momentum following a 9-8-2 2018 season that ended with a loss in the WIAC Championship Game.
The season will kick off with their home opener against the Augsburg Auggies on August 30th. They will follow that up with nine non-conference games throughout the month of September and early October.
Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) play will begin with a road trip to UW-Whitewater, who the Blugolds beat a season ago for the first time since 2008. They will also travel to UW-Stevens Point (Oct. 9), UW-Oshkosh (Oct. 19) and UW-Stout (Nov. 2) over the course of their WIAC schedule.
Eau Claire will hope to defend Bollinger Field, where they went 6-1-1 in 2018, with home conference play beginning against UW-Platteville (Oct. 12). UW-La Crosse (Oct. 26) and UW-River Falls (Oct. 30) will also make the trek to Bollinger Field in WIAC action. The conference tournament will begin with the quarterfinals taking place on November 5th, the semifinals on November 7th and the WIAC Championship on November 9th.
