MADISON, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – UW-Eau Claire gymnast Danielle Schulzetenberg (Jr.-Maple Grove, Minn.) has been named a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Athlete of the Week as a specialist, WIAC Assistant Commissioner for Media Relations Matt Stanek announced today.

Competing in three events at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational on Jan. 13, Schulzetenberg helped the Blugolds to a victory. She won the balance beam with a score of 9.400 and took second in two other events, the vault and floor exercise. She finished with scores of 9.450 and 9.375 in the respective events.
