MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – UW-Eau Claire women's basketball player Callie Halama (Sr.-Independence, Wis.) has been named to the week 13 D3hoops.com Team of the Week presented by Scoutware.

Halama, who previously was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for week four, helped the Blugolds to two wins last week as the Blugolds captured a share of the WIAC title for the first time since the 2007-08 season. Saturday in a 66-55 win over UW-Stevens Point on Senior Day, Halama had a career day as she led the Blugolds with 27 points and 13 rebounds, both of which were career-bests. Ten of her rebounds came on the offensive end. Halama played a key role in the second half as she scored 17 of her 27 points. Wednesday in a 75-48 win over UW-Platteville, Halama went 5-for-5 from the floor and 4-for-4 from the free throw line as she scored 14 points. She also pulled down six rebounds.
