MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (Blugolds.com) – UW-Eau Claire football player David Goodman (Sr.-Neenah, Wis.) has been named to the week seven D3football.com Team of the Week presented by Scoutware.

Goodman, who made the team of the week for his play on special teams, blocked a punt and also caught a pass on a fake punt to help the Blugolds convert in a 31-21 win at UW-La Crosse on Saturday. In the first quarter with the Eagles on their own 34, Goodman blocked a punt that Eau Claire's Mitch Olson recovered, leading to a Blugolds touchdown. In the fourth quarter with the score 24-21, Goodman caught a 9-yard pass on a fake punt to give the Blugolds a first down. A few plays later, the Blugolds scored their final touchdown of the game.
